Wing Fling 2011 is just days away. Your District Team has worked hard to put together an a FUN and memorable event. It is the culmination of over one year of preparation.

Facilities - This year we have a fantastic facility for Wing Fling. We have lots of hotel rooms, six working elevators, plenty of air conditioning, spacious seminar rooms, a fantastic banquet room for our talent contest, best dressed competitions, and closing ceremonies and more. We have on-site dining and multiple other restaurants within walking distance.

Vendors - Our vendors are located in the paved hotel parking lot, just a few short steps out of the hotel. We even have a couple of indoor vendors this year.

Contests - For the last several months we have been highlighting various contests and events in the District newsletter. We have a Pinewood Derby, a Chapter Shirt Contest, a Chapter Collage Contest, a Mascot Contest, a Chapter Clown Contest, a Newsletter Contest, a Banner Contest, a Crazy Hat Contest, a Scrapbook Contest, a Website Contest, a Clown’n Downs Competition, a Goodie Contest, and a Talent Contest.

Seminars - On Friday and Saturday we have numerous seminars; Leadership Training seminars, Rider Education seminars, Motorist Awareness seminars and some that are just for FUN.

Bike Events - As usual, we will have a Bike Show and the always popular Lighted Bike Parade and Show. Plus, back by popular demand, we will have a “Pit Stop Challenge”.

Thursday Night Meal - On Thursday evening we will have a real sit-down meal. Due to the fact that the District must pay for the meal in advance, only those pre-registered by June 7 will receive meal tickets. So, don’t delay in sending in your registration.

Ice Cream Social - Friday we will have our hand scooped ice cream social in the parking lot with our vendors. Come and allow your District Team to scoop you a dish of ice cream. Then, add some chocolate topping or candy sprinkles.
