Originally from Abingdon, VA, I served in the Air Force worldwide in Aircraft Control & Warning and SAC Command & Control.

We met in May 1966 while I was on the way to Southeast Asia and were married in June of 1967. Wow, that was 47 years ago. We have two children and five grandchildren.

I have held positions in Manufacturing, Construction Product Distribution, Sales Management, and Construction Industry Technical capacities. In 1989 I formed a Construction Consulting firm. In 1995 we moved the Company from Rhode Island to Conyers, GA. I retired in 2007.

Peg is originally from New River, VA, and has held positions in retail sales, teaching, hospital and dental office administration. Peg retired at the end of 2012.

My first motorcycle was a 250 cc Triumph I rode while stationed in Germany in the early 60's. I didn’t ride again until 2007. In September ’07 at the encouragement of a friend and GWRRA Member, I decided it was time to ride again. I purchased a Honda VTX 1300. In late '07 the same GWRRA Member invited me to attend a Plaque attack at Chapter GA-P. I had so much fun, that in February ‘08 we joined GWRRA as Associate Members.

We Participate with GA-A, where we served as Motorist Awareness Coordinators. We are the 2011 Chapter Couple of the Year and the 2012 Georgia District Couple of the Year. We served as District Chapter of the Year Coordinators. Peg is also currently the Chapter A Sunshine Lady.

In February 2009 we purchased a 1996 GL1500SE/CSC Trike and added an Escapade Trailer. We are both GWU Trainers; Level IV; Road Captains; and have ridden 54,000 and 36,000 Safe Miles respectively. In June of 2013 we were appointed as GA District MEC. We will strive to make the Georgia District Membership Enhancement Program the best in GWRRA.
